thundrah was a band from montreal that existed for some time between two-thousand and four and two-thousand and eight, played quite a few shows using everything from bike trailers to cargo vans to truck our equipment around, did a few tours, recorded some songs, and officially released one record on our good friends' label, blue skies turn black records. the songs you can find here were originally destined for our second release, which never materialized. we recorded these songs in march of two-thousand seven with the commander-in-chief, mr. radwan moumneh, at the mighty hotel2tango2 to two-inch tape with lucy the dog present for all the recording sessions. greg from special noise played the tambourine faster than anyone we had ever seen on the last song. songs one to four were mixed with mr. moumneh some time after the recording (the last two songs are not mixed, please don't mind that, and the second last song is a compilation of about three different songs but none of us are particularly gifted at digital audio editing), from may to october of the same year, however never made it to master. as an epitaph, we have so many people to thank for everything, and no list could possibly be compiled to fit everyone in. thanks to everyone that ever came to our shows, bought a record, booked a show for us, played with us, let us sleep on your floor/couch, wrote something nice about us, or supported us in any way, we all appreciate it more than you could ever imagine.
